About Meow Ching

Meow Ching gives a question a little room to breathe: a cat at the desk, three coins, and an I Ching pattern to think with.

A small place for reflection

Meow Ching is an I Ching coin-casting app hosted by a cat character. You bring a question, watch six tosses, and receive a hexagram. You can read its theme, explore the source text, or ask for an AI interpretation connected to your question.

The cat makes the experience approachable. The pattern and its explanation are there for people who have never opened the Book of Changes as well as people who already know the six-line figures.

You might use a reading to slow down before a conversation, notice a tension in a project, or put an uncertain choice into words. Its value depends on what you examine afterward, including the facts the reading cannot know.

Know what you are reading

We separate the saved coin pattern, the classical source passages, our editorial English renderings, and AI interpretation. The hexagram library offers public reading material. Our methodology identifies the classical references and explains the limits of the English explanations.

The server saves the cast before its animation plays. An interpretation retry, a deep reading or a follow-up keeps those same coins. The AI can discuss the pattern, but it cannot replace it with a more convenient one.

AI interpretations can be incomplete, mistaken or inconsistent. Meow Ching is for entertainment and self-reflection. Keep your own judgment, verify important facts, and use qualified support for decisions that need it.

Start at your own pace

You can cast a question and see its pattern without signing in. Google sign-in is required when you request an AI reading. Signed-in accounts receive 3 free basic readings per UTC day, with optional credit-based features described on pricing.

The launch interface and editorial pages are in English. AI readings are instructed to answer in the language of your question, though quality can vary.

FAQ

Is Meow a human reader?

Meow is the app's cat character. Personalized interpretations are generated by AI. Public English explanations are editorial content, and are labeled separately from the classical passages.

Do I have to believe in prediction to use it?

You can use the imagery and questions as prompts for reflection. The app does not verify predictions or promise an outcome.
